Introduction

Twineye ("we," "our," or "us") is a Spatial Video Converter that turns your ordinary videos into immersive Apple Spatial Video for the Apple Vision Pro. This Privacy Policy explains how Twineye handles your information. In short: Twineye works entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

Twineye does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app operates on a strict "no data collection" principle.

• No Personal Information: We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or any identifying information.
• No Accounts: Twineye has no sign-up, login, or user accounts.
• No Analytics or Tracking: We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and we do not collect usage or behavioral data.
• No Device Identifiers: We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or diagnostic data.
• No Network Communication: Twineye does not connect to the internet to process your videos. Your content never leaves your device.

How Twineye Accesses Your Videos

Twineye only accesses the specific videos you choose to convert:

• You select the source video from your Photos library or Files. Twineye reads only that file, only for the conversion you requested.
• Local processing: The video is analyzed and converted into spatial video directly on your device.
• You keep the result: The converted spatial video is saved back to your device (for example, to Photos or Files). You remain in full control of it.
• No uploads: Your videos — source or converted — are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

Local, On-Device Processing Only

Since Twineye does not collect any data, all processing happens locally on your device:

1. Depth Estimation: A depth model bundled inside the app runs on your device to understand the scene in your video.
2. Spatial Video Generation: Twineye synthesizes a stereoscopic (spatial) video from the original frames and the estimated depth, and encodes it in Apple's spatial video format (MV-HEVC).
3. Everything Stays Local: All of the above runs on-device using Apple frameworks. Nothing is sent to a server, because there is no server.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We have no data to share because we do not collect any data. There is no data transmission, storage, or sharing with any third parties.

Third-Party Components

Twineye uses the following components that operate entirely on-device:

• On-Device Machine Learning Model: A bundled depth-estimation model that runs locally and does not transmit data.
• iOS / macOS / visionOS System Frameworks: AVFoundation, Core ML, and related Apple frameworks that operate locally on your device.

Data Storage and Security

• No Servers: We do not maintain any servers, databases, or cloud storage.
• No Data Transmission: No personal data or video content ever leaves your device.
• Your Files Stay Yours: Source videos and converted spatial videos are stored only where you save them on your device.
• Security by Design: The most secure approach is not collecting data in the first place — Twineye collects nothing.

Your Privacy Rights

• Photos / Files Access: You can grant or revoke Twineye's access to your media at any time through your device Settings.
• Data Deletion: Because we do not collect any data, there is no personal data to delete. Uninstalling the app removes only local app preferences.

Children's Privacy

Twineye does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age. Since we do not collect any data, the app is safe for children and families to use.

International Data Transfers

Since all processing occurs locally on your device, no international data transfers occur.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
• We will notify users of significant changes through app updates.
• Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

• All media access is user-initiated and used only for the requested conversion.
